Sabayon Linux 5.0 KDE 4.3 64 bit edition

this was originally the gnome version but I installed the KDE version just to upload.
It may or may not be the same as if you downloaded the kde version but it will be close.
The default theme yet again was FAR to dark, I couldnt even read the clock, so I once again changed everything. I hope you enjoy. If you have any questions or comments then please ask.

@RealNeurotiq I don't know the song name exactly but its from youtubes audioswap feature and the artist is "musicshake" they have a ton of songs and i go through until i find one I like.

Hi, i just recently switched from Linux Mint to Sabayon 5.0 KDE, just because I've heard so much that Sabayon is really good for KDE, and I just really wanted to love KDE

Anyway, where is the acceration manager? And is that Beryl/Emerald you're using?

I just did some research b/c I had gnome installed before kde so that is why my effects were on and i also used accel manager in gnome but it isnt in kde, you can do a few things to get compiz running. open up sulfur and type in compiz, then install what you see fit. if you need more help then just ask.

@daraikenu oh and its emerald theme manager that im using for the window borders. i tweaked it to my liking though, it was a vista theme but i changed most everything except the buttons. i no longer have it though but i use "whoneedswin7" now and am liking that

hey, how do u install compiz in SL kde,.

i have install SL kde but there were no compiz..

Compiz is preinstalled, you only need to activate it. Usually look for "acceleration manager" and then activate it.

Im a gnome fan but kde 4.3 really surprised me. I like how both are developing and cant wait for gnome 3.0 as long as they add even more functionality to it. check out the gnome website or youtube for some videos on 3.0.
