its a shame they didn't know what they were singing. its actually a pretty song :)
-
you should check the original version by the Russian singer Vitas, the song is called "Opera 2"

@grimmfervor LOL. Well, men just have vocal chords that allow for more range. If you can sing soprano, though, I'm sure you can hit the highest note from this song with a little practice. I'm a woman and I've been able to improve my higher range with some practice.

@cloxwork He started the first chorus an octave lower than Vitas but the second and third choruses were the same notes as Vitas. A bit squeakier, but still impressive!
-
Did he ever recover from doing that performance? Hahahahaha!!!

you could look it up Vitas Opera 2 with english subtitles. ....it's kinda minimally sad but IT SOUNDS AMAZING!!! As good as Vocal Point did with it, his is even better!
(but don't watch the music video....it's just wierd--he has gills in it??)

Scott is the funniest guy. I just love him. Well, I love them all, but still. :D

sickest thing everrrr, this is so crazy good!
The reason it says "Happy Birthday" in the title is because the group prefaced the song by jokingly saying that they didn't know what the words meant so they're just going to pretend it's a birthday song and dedicated it to the members in the crowd who were celebrating a birthday. I was there.

LOVE this song! I thought the lead singer Scott was fantastic. :) *wish I could still hit those notes on the fly*
