Reason 5 Deep House Thing

2011 turned out to be the worst year i ever experienced. In short, my studio was brought to a halt due to computer systems stopped functioning but worst of all my beloved and dear Mother was diagnosed with brain tumor in January and died on March 25 2011. Getting back to normal life is hard, i feel like i almost have to start from scratch again. Anyway, my Mother would not have me give up on music so i better start breathing again. This "Deep House Thing" arrangement was original created using Zebra VST and yesterday i decided to sample the instruments and give it a go in Reason 5. I wouldnt say i enjoyed making it but it kept my mind on other things. Hope it can inspire others out there. Awww man Mike that track is sick! Its a nice feel good track. I truly hope you do step by step tutorial vids yo cause that's well produced. On my Beats headphones I can hear all the mixed and layered instruments nicely too. Any good resources you can refer me to improve at producing? I am a noob

@Nzaonline Well you can always start with following the download link in the title description ;) Besides that the Reason community have many song examples for download over at propellerhead so i suggest you start by looking over these songs.

Where did you get the stabs?

@Jamizzy99 The rhythmic stabs can be just about anything etc. a Saw with some resonance, what matters are the rhythmic motion. The bright bandpass brass motion is also important for the feel. They use a controlled 3 step volume raise. All sounds in this video are sampled from sounds i've made for Zebra VST
