@jsweet1011 once you get into naruto shippuden is when the show becomes really really good. I don't know but it's like the characters have matured a lot more and a real story has developed.

@jsweet1011 It's because people these days know Anime before knowing manga. Animes have a lot of fillers and they tend to annoy everyone, especially us. Why? Because they have nothing to do with the actual storyline. I mean, who cares about a kid named Idate running around a country? I believe it's also due to the fact they knew "Naruto" before "Naruto shippuden". To me, "Naruto" lacked the depth shown in Naruto Shippuden and it is because of that first impression that Naruto is misjudged.
