for the high idle check timing and for vacuum leaks.
you can use a throttle cable from a late 80's tercel. It is the almost the same length

did u get urself a gts gas tank? or how was ur set up on that? on ur high idleing, check ur TPS and timing, if u canceled all ur vacuum lines including the EGR (duh) its prolly gonna be TPS and timing, when i advance the timing it does the same on mine then it drops to 1,200 rpms, u might wanna check the vacuum lines on the throattle too and uhm...if ur running ur SR5 bell housing, use some sort of heat guard, ull toast ur clutch line

sorry for the late reply, but ummmm i didnt know you could use the sr5 housing,i thought you had to use gts, but mine is full gts. turns out that the cause of the stuck pedal is within the throttle body, the round part is gets stuck because its getting caught on. will post updates
