This month we're taking to the skies as dirigibles emerge phoenixlike into a new golden age.
From the windswept plains of the arctic - to flying saucers bringing civilization to untamed lands.
All that's new in the world of balloons and blimps.
This month on Technology Update.
We've got the future...covered!!

  • Why is this on RT? Thought technology update was on RTД...

  • 1.- Beacuse humans are not meant to fly, and see everthing from above

2.- Because it's the fastest way to help needed. suppply...

3.- Because of fuel costs, jet fuel is very expensive and can't hover like an airship. wich is an stable platform ideal for an hospuital

4.- I definitively approve red cross to have several flying hospital wich can be easily taken were needed.. ie. Haiti

5.- No,I preffer another way to fund red cros via paypal donations, visa, moneybookers.... or an easier way.

  • Dear All,

I have some questions about psychology and technology:

    (1) Why do we love flying?

    (2) Why do we relate aerospace technology with charity and disaster relief?

    (3) Why do want to design and to build new airships in this jet-age?

    (4) What do you think if Red Cross has a airship like this as a flying hospital?

    (5) Will you donate $5 to download an virtual Red Cross airship for flight simulator game?

THANK YOU IN ADAVNCE for your creative ideas and brainstorm!!! :)

  • @michulecalan the future is the past re invented

  • I have never liked history... and this kept me interested the whole time. Man this stuff is fantastic! Informative and like watching a movie.

  • @GladiatorShield the reason hot air balloons and blimp-like crafts work is because they are so big

  • Back in the past!:(...

  • @GladiatorShield

They can't be too small and even the smallest needs a ground crew.
