There are men going around (in Los Angeles, Orange County and San Diego) claiming they work for legit and professional dent & bumper companies like SOS Dent, Dent Time, Dents No More and others. These scammers take advantage of people who believe they are
getting a good deal but unfortunately are getting ripped off instead. These dishonest scammers, con their victims by saying they are doing side work and can fix your dent, bumper or scratch on your vehicle for a lot less.The end result is terrible leaving your panel or bumper with a gummy,
bondoed look. Their getaway excuse is for you to wait 24 hours and then wash it off but as expected it won't at all. Instead, you will be left with a bigger mess and a far more expensive repair leaving no chance for a cost-effective solution.

These con-artist target the public in shopping centers,
neighborhoods and even flag you down in traffic. DON'T

well the shady work was done not by Mexicans. We service several body shops in WLA, SM and MDR and only workers there are Mexicans. You can find really good craftsman there. It is not matter of who's is it, more likely each persons values and body shop manager how he influence workers.

seems like you have some knowledge about body work. You are right, Judie actually got estimate for fixing this mess from another body shop for over $2500. Her cost with us was bellow $1000. And it would be less if she doesn't have such a mess with her car at first place.

See, we as people need to know what we want, if you prefer to have car look like her before, you are welcome to hire unprofessional people. But if you looking for value quality and honesty, let professionals do it.

He told me to leave the wax on it for four hours, or even better over night. He then said he had to come back the next day to finish the job and get the rest of his$. When he said that I said to myself "I thought he had to work tomorrow?". He then asked what my heritage was. I said I was Greek. He said he was Romanian. At that point I knew I had been scammed. The word 'con' is short for 'confidence". He did gain my confidence and he got me. What a scum bag.

They gypsy scam happened to me a few weeks ago. He said he worked down the street at a legitimate auto body shop and he was off work that day. He said he had the tools in his car and he HAD to do it that day as the tools were going back to the shop the next day. He wanted $150 but I told him I only had $80 on me ( I actually had the $150). I had several spots of fading paint on my car and it took him about 15 minutes to basically sand and rub some wax like compound on my car.

Old scam.It's sad to see how many new cars drive around with the "sucker" patch.Feel bad it happend to you but I congratulate you for posting this on youtube.Those guys belong in jail but unfortunately there is always somebody willing to save a buck and loose hundreds.Always keep a baseball bat handy.They can fix their own dents.I garanty they will not call the cops.
