The new Obama stimulus comes with a lot of strings: first off you don't have to turn a profit - all you have to do is create jobs - secondly, they have to be the right jobs - only in the industry Obama WANTS to grow - forget about addressing demand - demand means nothing - its all about the jobs jobs jobs - business is profit, not jobs - have you read economics for dummies? - and I bet this soon will be called the "Bush Economic Collapse" so as not to taint the King and Savior with this, even thought businesses are cutting jobs because they are not optimistic about an Obama administration turning things around.

i have a question even if i sound naive...what is the role of rich people like clinton, obama, oprah, when we turn to a socialist country? for real..i just think that people like me will never get to move up and if u already have money do the rich then make all the rules?? i really don't get it...

No naive at all. In most communist/socialist systems, unlike their description on an egalitarian society, there is always an "elite" who take our production and lord it over the rest of us. These people are the elite. You see, they believe that people are born into their specific class and they shouldn't move up at all, or be allowed to. Sometimes its called slammed the door behind you - they get rich but no one else after them.

It's called regression analysis, and any successful business will look at their *past* business performance and *current* market indicators to make it's decisions.

The "bad times" are the fact that we have had repeated quarters of negative GDP growth... these all happened in the PAST.

No Chris, it doesn't work that way and you know it. Ask any CEO or Upper Management of a large Public Corp. The only time they employ is IF they have a new product that is working for them. Then they only increase THAT department. Then they hire only a few (1-2) at a time. So blaming this mess that's going on NOW, on Obama...Well that makes me laugh. You truly make no since at all.
