its unfortunately, a few hundredthousand times more expensive then that, (per person)

and if the only benefit of such a mission is to take the exact same lunar rocks to earth whom have no direct value, then its kinda optimistic to brag,whine or bitch about the fact that we havent landed there since 1973.

if we would have done so, we would be in a far worse economic crisis then we are in today.

but i do think that we should stop warfare and use that money for spaceflight.

we havent got back to the moon because 1 saturn 5 rocket costed 10billion dollars only to carry 2 astronauts to the lunar surface.

I dont think what you people tend to imagine if its that costly, like we should go back to the moon.

Or perhaps its much more efficient to wait a few more decades or century before a new propulsion technology gets developed that will cut in that price by a tenfold.

getting to the moon is not like buying a Boeing 747 business class ticket.
