The Jesse Duke Era... No fins were harmed in the making of these videos - but DelFineous sure got dirty, as it also rained on the way out. A J-turn on dirt is a bit more difficult, as the tires loose traction sooner than on pavement - thus not transferring as much momentum and whipping the front end around as needed (watch my Furyous j-turn video to see what I mean). A hard brake stab 1/2 into the turn would have helped checked my rearward motion and made for a cleaner execution - next time. Slow-ratio manual steering and no seat belt also makes for quite a fun workout! Wheels smacking the soft dirt embankment finished my turn, but also jammed dirt in my front tire bead - causing loss of air. Not the first time I had to use the spare during filming one of these trick videos..:) This is why I take the time planning a route, and in this case I removed potentially damaging rocks embedded along the road and burm. A 1957 or 1958 mopar in a slide is the coolest scene to me... Officer Pruitt demonstrates a bit more finesse than I do on dirt roads in the motor-vational novel Seven Skins.
Also - I am searching for the passenger side grill (57 only, there is a slight difference between the 57 & 58 structure), both headlight brows (also 57 only), and 57-58 passenger bumper bracket for the rechromed bumper. Any leads would be appreciated by us :) 11-18 Found the grill, bracket, and same side brow today -good Karma.

Will do, but not planning on it currently. I also - keep watching for the right "60" ply to pop up. Glad you like to see my machines doing what they love...
