Modou hang player Sindidi sufi music mino documentary

At our present time when progress is primarily seen as synonymous with speed and high technology, the Hang, being a percussion instrument with a range of notes, has just been born from a simple piece of sheet metal. It lands in the hands of Modou, a young Sufi-Jazz musician, who takes the time to discover this master key to many doors, opening surprising new dimensions within the world of music.
Modou discovers a new instrument from Switzerland which enable him to cross borders, to get the Occident closer to the Middle East with his music which mixes jazz and Sufism.
