First Buck of 2011

Shot a buck on October 20th 2011. The shot was right at dark and the deer was directly below the stand I was not sure where I hit the deer so we let him lay over night.

As always I did all the editing and most of the filming myself.

Great vid. You did say something key though. You couldnt tell where you hit the deer due to how dark it was., You maybe shouda passed on the shot so as to not have just wounded him. It worked out but coulda very well left him wounded or a slow death.

@Cptace1961 It was getting dark but the camera makes it seem a lot darker than it truly was.. The deer was so close there was hardly time for my eye to pick up the arrow before it hit him; he was less than 5 yards from the base of my tree!!! I was confident in taking the shot from spending hours year round shooting my bow. Hunters should never take shots they aren't confident they can make. Unfortunately people take those shots all the time.

@trentbusenbark IS there an option that you can turn the brightness up on the video? maybe that will help you when it comes to editing

@DougTater Yea there is and I played with it a little but it started to distort the clip.
