  • That big whistle in the video has to be one of Harry Barry's Great Lakes steamer whistles. He puts his whistles on this boat from time to time. Such a big voice for such a small boat!

  • @acoustics101 The whistle in this video is actually the Chautauqua Belle's original whistle, casted as a brass replica of the former steamer CITY OF JAMESTOWN, which was the last of the steamers to operate here on Chautauqua Lake. Look at some of my other videos and you will be sure to see Harry Barry's whistle aboard the vessel!

  • @Stage079 I saw one of Harry's chime whistles. Harry has one of the most extensive whistle collections of anyone I know. He has them in all shapes and sizes. He recently sent me two DVDs he made of several of his whistles on the Chautauqua Belle.
