SEMI-FAN FICTION WITH SPOILERS!!!!!
Selene is confronted by Lucian with the true story of how and why the Blood Feud started. Luican speaks of how much he and Sonja loved one another and he was willing to live a life of slavery just to be near her, and she would have run from the only life she's ever known to be with him. One night while Sonja is patrolling outside the palace walls she was attacked by "William's Pestilence" in his attempts to save her, he breaks both of Viktor's laws of Lycans leaving the palace walls and removing his moon shackle, and is sentenced to die. Sonja refuses to let her lover die, but in her attempts to save him from his fate, they are caught trying to escape. He and Sonja were arrested and Sonja tried executed. He has lived 600 years blaming himself for her death and wishing he could have saved her and haunted by the fact that he both could not and did not, Viktor's war to him has not only been an extermination of his kind be a constant renewing the wounds left by Viktor's self-righteous irreligious piety. Selene then realizes that her feelings for Micheal are not truly an act of defiance against Viktor's covenant, but not taking for granted what Lucian and Sonja had prepared to die for. As Selene makes this realization, Kraven kills Lucian who in death is reunited with his beloved Sonja...finally free. The is my first vid made on Sony Vegas. Please comment as well as rate.

Lucien said he took a vampire for his bride. He and Sonja were never married right? I'm surprised the directors/writers let that one go by.

@bookiecookie444 Well to take someone as your bride back then meant one of three things, you were engaged/betrothed formally or in secret, you eloped, or you were married in (*cough* *cough*) deed if not by law/ceremony, and Sonja and Lucian had promised themselves to each other (engaged), agreed to run away together (eloped), and they definitely were involved in a way that applies to the third. So technically, Lucian did take Sonja as his bride.

@Pinkranger87 yeah, I personally believe in the whole "light at the end of the tunnel" view on death. and I felt that if you spend over a millennium of fighting a war so the love of your life wouldn't have died in vain, you deserve to be together in the end, I wanted to have a shot of their child in too as an afterthought, but I that felt a little too...I don't know...wierd

@4everAvril95 personally I feel that Selene and Sonja came from different worlds. Selene came into the Vampire clan after Viktor had written his lies down and called them history, Sonja knew the truth all along. I love 'em both, but lets be honest Lucian is way better than Micheal!

I love this - it's exceptionally good. Really well edited. I like the way you've used it as Lucian's story, told to Selene. I wish this bit of film could be used as the flashback in the original Underworld movie!
