i love the shirelles version to but i just heard this version

I've always loved this version on the "All About Love" album. The orchestration is also outstanding; who did it, Claus Ogerman, someone else? The strings get a little much, but that 5-4-3-2-1 before the punchline is just a knockout. You don't hear it on the Shirelles' original or the first few covers; someone at Mercury heard it and wrote that, and it always gets me moving. If she'd had a Motown choreographer (5-4-3-2-1), this coulda been an iconic hit. Sweet, sexy and 5-4-3-2-1.

she makes this one her own!

The sentiments/melody of this song really suits the gifts of Leslie's voice. Wonderful alternative to the original.
