I need to say this also...what an ornametic position he takes sometimes, we mostly talk about ornamentik in Barokk musikk, but the way he conducts. has a flavour of ornamentations in it, can also lead to the periode of the empires ahh ofcourse 1810-1830......yes thats it.

wow.. that is what I call exelent conducting... super pro, and so into the music than one could cry...no not could...this is art.. thank you...

Naw, Horns rock 1,000,000,000,000 %!!!!

I'm thinking that because Vienna horns play so much like Natural horns and take a LOT of breathe to play AND it's easier to play in the higher registers on a Modern horn....... BUT, what do I know, I've been playing Horn for about 21 years (LMAO)

Why are 2nd and 3rd horns using Vienna horns and yet 1st horn is using a modern double horn?

I love the conducting in the opening of this movement. Un-neccessary baton movement is replaced with just a sly grin as if to say , , "Yeah, you guys know where it's at" . . then . . Wham . . bring it on in! :)
Lovin this so far.

Lovely.

I'm telling you, the conductor looks like Beethoven himself!
-
This is a rare case that a rotary valve horn and two Vienna horns are used together in a single orchestra. Good harmony.
