Steve Mason from Obscura Digital gave a presentation at FITC 2009 about how they use Scaleform's hardware accelerated Flash technology, Scaleform GFx, and powerful NVidia GPUs to power the wall.

Yeah, Steve heads up our UI/UX group here. He is responsible for designing most of the user interaction and how it actually functions when someone touches it. its not that easy designing interaction for multi-users, especially in public places. Lots of focus groups and design reviews went into the usability of the wall. We do a ton of work with the Quadroplex systems, its the only way to really pump out that much resolution these days.
