Kang: let's welcome Mr Jimmy Lin. did you know that Ruby is the host?

R: Why did u call me Ruby jie.
Cheung to Jimmy: so what do u call her?
J: Ruby.
Kang to Jimmy: You call her Ruby.
R: my English name. My family call me Ruby since I was a kid. I am not used to being called Xinru.
Kang: what do you call Jimmy?
R: Xiao Zhi
Kang: besides jimmy is his classmate Cheung
R: same class same year?
Kang: Jimmy started acting in highschool?
J: yes, in theatre every year.
Kang to Ruby: did jimmy give you his new album?
R: he told me to buy it.
J: and caps. The caps are...
R: do you have a watch?
J: Watch? You.
Kang: what's this cap?
J: This is our racing team's winner's cap.
R: If it's a watch I will wear it.
J: watch. Okay. In that case...
(Jimmy took off his watch and gave it to R.)
J: This is a Hummer. let me help you put it on.
R: I will take it home.

Cheung: is the show over?
Kang: not yet, but
Cheung: The atmosphere is so romantic.
Kang to Ruby: is the watch the most expensive gift he ever gave you?
Cheung to Jimmy: he is shy

R to J: You haven't given me a birthday present this yr. this's just right.
Kang: How could you not give her a present this yr
J: I was busy working in china.
Kang to J: Did you give her a present every yr?
J to R: Did I?
R: Yes.
Kang: what did he give you?
R: purses, hangbags
Kang: so he always remember your birthday
R: I remember his birthday too
Kang: what did you give him?
R: nothing
Kang: why he gave you presents and you didn't
R: b/c we never get to see each other
Kang: he didn't get to see you but he still gave you presents
Kang to Jimmy: so you ask someone else to pass along the present
J: not necessary, any way is fine.
Kang: Federal Express?
Jimmy laughed...
Kang: Jimmy, we won't let you get off so easily today. You better say something.
Cheung: he MSN me last night and told me to talk highschool. And then he ... I asked him what's going on. And he said Kang will have a substitute host tomorrow. I didn't get it at first. He said it's Ruby. And I ...
Kang: and you expect me not to ask questions? what's the use of getting a classmate to help you out.
Kang to Ruby: so how good is he at picking gifts for girls?
Kang: so he won't give some stupid stuff, like microwave ovens
R: No one has given me one yet.
Kang: something romantic
R: not romantic, just practical
Kang: did he write a card?
Ruby looked at Jimmy
J: she is very forgetful.
Kang: what did he write?
R: Happy Birthday
Kang: that's it
Kang: Jimmy, your new album has something to do with cars? How many of your cars did you show in the MV?
Jimmy: the MV combines cars with music. Listen to my MV and it's like I drive you around to many places, to racing, to star-gazing and listen to romantic music.
Cheung: when Ruby heard star-gazing she looked weird
Cheung: I tried to ease out the emabarrassing atmosphere.
Kang to Ruby: do you prefer to sit at the back of a motorcycle or the front of a car
R: the front of a car. I don't like motorcycles
Kang: how's his driving skills?
R: car? Not bad. he likes to show off by drifting.
Kang: during a date?
R: the girls sit at the back and the guys in the front and he'd show off his skills.
Kang: why were there more than 2 ppl during a date
R: no, it wasn't a date. Just a group of friends goingoing out. The girls sat at the back. He showed off his drifting skills.
Jimmy looked puzzled.
R: some ppl are forgetful
Kang to Jimmy: You forgot about drifting?
J: no, maybe a group of car enthusiasts going out and each showed off his skills.
Kang: did the girls scream?
J: they should be okay. They are used to it.
Kang to Ruby: You are used to it?
R: I don't know. Ask him.
Kang: who else did you give rides to?
J: none
Kang to Ruby: see, just you. did you go star-gazing?
R and J looked very embarrassed.
Cheung to J: you should have called her last night and not me. What did you call me for? You should have talked it over with her.
Kang: The way she just looked at me means that star-gazing happened very often.
Cheung: right. He's very romantic. He's very nice to girls. Kang Yung Ge is very busy today. He doesn't have an assistant and has to interview 3 guests.

no he's not. he's also an actor and appeared in lots of taiwan idol series. he's jimmy's best friend from highschool.

there were lots of speculations he tried to make a comeback after he was discharged from the army at 22. his career hit a wall. he turned to car racing and became a pro racer and businessman, making tv series on the side. she went on and became a famous actress. this is the 1st time they appeared together on a show and admitted they dated more than 10 yrs ago then broke up. that's why everyone was teasing them and they were so awkward, esp jimmy. he kept laughing to hide his embarrassment.
