You seem to have this a little mixed up, allow me to clarify this for you. There are 71k viruses that are ABLE to infect a mac. Most are allowed through by user error or ignorance. However that is how all viruses are obtained, so that is really a pointless notion. If you are running flash, java or or other adobe programs on a mac you are subject to infection. If you have a computer that runs with c+ or c++ you are also subject. Which is all of them. Specs- Why pay more for less i say.

No, professionals do not in any way use the app store. I have several friends with masters degrees in sound engineering. They run recording studios and produce music for a living. They use protools. In no way do they use "apps" of any kind to achieve a professional level of quality. Before making such a foolish statement i would suggest you first learn a little about the subject you claim to represent in an argument. Mac also does usually not contain better sound cards than most standard pcs.

I wrote code, I repair computers at Best Buy for a living, and I know PC's and Mac's inside out. I have to for my job. I even got training for it. And I've been using PC's inside out for 9 years, 6 years before I got training and got a job at Best Buy. To an extent. I own a "PC" that is better than most Macs and yet it was a bit more than half the cost. If I wanted I could even put the Mac OS on it too. While Macs are durable and well built they are quiet expensive. Apple has done so well at selling their brand that people tend to look past the price because of the quality and customer service they get with the computers. There is no problem with that but honestly the computers themselves are nothing fancy.

Lol, what kind of use did this computer get? First off a Mac is a PC "Personal Computer". Your probably talking windows. Your "yelling" in comments and that shows a sign that your actually loosing an argument. Where is your proof? No one has shown any proof. Experience never prooves anything. Macs are durable and good but they are expensive. They are also not made to be customizable unlike other computer systems which are built that way.
