I,uh. I disagree with "music was more wholesome". Music was just less obvious with its hints of sex and violence. Unless we go back to the 1920s and examine blues and jazz that often described violence in detail.

@Jguy365 no, honestly. about 5 people i know that feel out of place in this era. i dislike it so much.

This is true talent. Real instruments and voices. There was no such thing as auto tune or an editing software that could make the worst of voices sound golden and get famous.Back then people got famous because they had true talent, and they deserved to get recognized. The music itself was better. More wholesome- less encouraging of drugs, sex, drinking, etc.

@B123Sarah I'm so glad I saw your comment... I know EXACTLY how you feel! It's nice to know that I'm not the only one who feels out of place in this generation. (I'm 16.)

@gulfportmugs I wish I could have been there to experience it... I was born in the wrong generation. I love everything about old time architecture, music, attire, movies, etc. What do I like about today? Hmmm... I don't even know. (This is coming from a 16 year old.)

'I'm gonna get a drink' 'I might have abit of the bubbly myself' 'I'm gonna dance' 'Don't hurt yourself!' *dances like a mad man* you do not hear music like this anymore!

@BillDFC Yes, Frank Sinatra and his childhood idol singing together. Not since chocolate and peanut butter has there been such a rich decadent and delightful combanation.

This is just like me and my mate, sneaking away at parties to scull champagne and trade witty remarks

Epic chair
I have this lp. That was made when men were men, women were women, and people knew how to dress up for parties and behave themselves. This is fun.
