@14lessthan1 - I know it was 3 years ago, but - the "doughnut" on the outside of the main circuit equalises the number of inside and outside curves the car takes, and also equalises the length of the lap, give or take an inch or so.

A non magnet car does not have a traction magnet installed. Traction magnets make it easier for beginners to drive the cars.

Each lane is exactly the same length. In one race a driver will race in each lane so it all evens out by the end of the race.
