Raceworld LMP Slotcar Racing

Some racing action from our weekly LMP class. We race non-magnet cars with a 25k rev limit at 11V on an Ogilvy track. Ortmann tires rule the track. The NSR King is the most popular long can motor, and the Slot.it V3 25k is our most popular short can motor. Chassis are stock with some bracing alowed. We race cars from Proslot, Slot.it, SCX and NINCO so we have varied grids and close racing.

A non magnet car does not have a traction magnet installed.  Traction magnets make it easier for beginners to drive the cars.

Each lane is exactly the same length. In one race a driver will race in each lane so it all evens out by the end of the race.

@14lessthan1 - I know it was 3 years ago, but - the "doughnut" on the outside of the main circuit equalises the number of inside and outside curves the car takes, and also equalises the length of the lap, give or take an inch or so.
