  • I won't lie, Turkish delight is pretty gross. I remember seeing this when I was young and then I really wanted some.

Well, I eventually tried some, and, it's a little too gooey for me. I'm sure it has its tastes and uses, but I don't know, If I were in that situation, I would have turned down the Turkish delight and asked for some hot-pockets or something...

  • I wonder what Turkish Delight is like. I also wonder what would it have been like if the late Melendez and the CTW had produced films of all the Narnia books.

  • @Waxer3929 I want to try it some day.

  • is it just more or does the witch kind of sound like Cruella Deville...

  • Edmund seems to have an Aussie accent when he's talking to the Witch.

  • The dworf hos no beard

  • @KimmerzLautner The Disney version's rated PG, not PG-13. Your teacher must've lied. ;-)

  • @amstreater I highly agree with you. But I want the good stuff. I won't settle for anything less.

  • @Waxer3929 Just saw this after my other comment on your original comment. Do try some real TD if you get the chance, it's lovely.

  • @Waxer3929 The likes of Cadbury's and Fry's Turkish Delight is nothing like actual Turkish Delight. Real Turkish Delight is made of nougat and pistachio/dates. I was the same as you, I hated it for years until I tried the real stuff that a Turkish colleague brought from Istanbul. SO GOOD.

  • @847ChicagoGuy Thank you. This is bringing back so many memories.
