April 10th is a haunting look at revolutionary struggle and a spark in the wilderness for barrio youth to stand and fight for something real. Through a revolutionary movement named after the death of General Emiliano Zapata, three revolutionaries steal the airwaves to inspire the barrios. In a time when barrio youth kill each other on the streets over nonsense daily, April 10th presents the idea of struggle in the dignified manner of Emiliano Zapata through the actions of these three revolutionaries pinned down In a TV station. With the idea that it is Better to die on your feet than to live a life on your knees, these three young revolutionaries take a stand and become a spark for the powder keg of the barrio.

April 10th was made as a USC 508 short film
Directed by Junior and Cinematography by Fady Hadid.
It screened at the 2008 Los Angeles Latino International Film Festival.

Ahh thanks for the luv! Just a student film I'm having a hard time trying to fund my next one but hopefully in the next year. Then dream and scrape and fight and work towards my feature in the years after hopefully.
