** Special Operations Forces**
United States Special Operations Forces under United States Special Operations Command are active and reserve component forces of U.S. Military. They are designated by the United States Secretary of Defense, and are specifically trained to conduct operations in an area under enemy or unfriendly control or politically sensitive environments to achieve military, diplomatic, and informational objectives of the United States.

**Army Special Forces**
The United States Army Special Forces, also known as the Green Berets because of their distinctive service headgear, are a special operations force. Army Special Forces are tasked with six primary missions: unconventional warfare, foreign internal defense, special reconnaissance, direct action, hostage rescue, and counter-terrorism. The first two emphasize language, cultural, and training skills in working with foreign troops. Other duties include combat search and rescue (CSAR), security assistance, peacekeeping, humanitarian assistance, humanitarian demining, counter-proliferation, psychological operations, manhunts, and counter-drug operations; other components of the United States Special Operations Command or other U.S. government activities may also specialize in these secondary areas. Many of their operational techniques are classified, but some nonfiction works and doctrinal manuals are available.
The original and most important mission of the Special Forces had been "unconventional warfare", while other capabilities, such as direct action, were gradually added.
Their official motto is De oppresso liber (Latin: To Liberate the Oppressed), a reference to one of their primary missions, training and advising foreign indigenous forces.

**US Navy SEALS**
The United States Navy SEa, Air and Land (SEAL) Teams, commonly known as Navy SEALs, are the U.S. Navy's principal special operations force and a part of the Naval Special Warfare Command (NSWC) as well as the maritime component of the United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM).

The unit's acronym ("SEAL") is derived from their capacity to operate at sea, in the air, and on land -- but it is their ability to work underwater that separates SEALs from most other military units in the world. Navy SEALs are trained and have been deployed in a wide variety of missions, including direct action and special reconnaissance operations, unconventional warfare, foreign internal defense, hostage rescue, counter-terrorism and other missions. Without exception, all SEALs are male members of either the United States Navy or the United States Coast Guard.

  • There is a seal team six.........and they can call it anything they want DevGru or what ever stupid name the pentagon comes up with...........hello ...they still fill the number six team slot........so fuck any asshole who says other wise.

  • @batcountryboy93 yea i get it. much respect.

  • @BlackmadonnaX Its just not their name. Like the name to Delta is Delta Force. The name to SEAL Team 6 is or was DevGru. get it?

  • @batcountryboy93 Like the army's SOFD-D ? get it. Im enlisting SF anyways but I respect all branches

  • @BlackmadonnaX and since they are so classified they arent supposed to exist to civies. A guy on the SEALSWCC forum got in major trouble by mentioning SEAL Team 6

  • @BlackmadonnaX No shit... But its not their name... Their number is 6 yes like the others. but their official name is not SEAL Team 6. Look it up, they used to be called that, then they went to DevGru and now their supposedly something else no one knows

  • @batcountryboy93 there is such thing as team 6. As well as team 1 , 2 , 4, 5 ...they work in teams..

  • @chad2011ish ok another mistake i made by accident... its calledJoint Special Operations Command... sorry when i see joint im thinking joint task force too sorry two separate things

  • @chad2011ish and for selection both sides are wrong. everything the media gives you on both is wrong and needs to be taken as false. its all classified, SF hate the media. They hate the media more when it comes to ROE. they just made them happy to get the media off their backs and fed them some bull crap. do you think our military would be that dumb to share that kind of stuff with the media? where our enemies can study off of?

  • theres no such thing as SEAL Team 6... thats just a name to give the media who is an enemy to the special forces...everything you hear about these people is wrong. everything including their legit name is classified. they are not supposed to be known, therefore they should not exist. they are the mythological people along with Delta and the 24th special tactic squadron. Seal Team 6 was dissolved many many years ago like in the 80s. thats their number but not their name anymore...
