Skype: Screen and File Sharing with Skype

There are two more ways to communicate with your contacts on Skype. The first is screen sharing, a feature that lets you share live video of what's on your computer screen (for example, a website, or the software you're using). It's a great way to demonstrate how to do something, or show the other person what you're working on.

The second is sending files to your contacts. This feature lets you share any size or type of file, including documents, photos, presentations, and other things that you have saved to your computer.

i have a newer version of skype and i have no idea how to share screen

Me and a friend both have the altest version of skype and are both on wndows but when I go to share screens with him its grayed out? Any ideas as to why?

i have a problem receive video files, my freind has sent me allot of videos (i am making a snowboard film of him) and when all the videos have loaded for hours they just stand there with grey and white stripes, and it says "waiting" and nothing more happens.. help (sorry for bad english)

You have to pay for screen sharing. No wonder I could not find it I only have basic Skype
