Killer band. I got a used copy of Sessions at Amoeba for $1.99, but that store doesn't think any music is good unless some doofus in a $100 vintage t-shirt and skinny jeans tells them it's good.

@KristinNirvana I can see that you are a lot like me; in that when you get into something, you have an unquenchable curiosity that drives you to learn everything you possibly can about it. That is a great quality to have, and when focused... your options are limitless. I looked at your page and the list of bands you have... I haven't even heard of some of them. It's refreshing to see someone your age embracing that era of music in that way. I hope your dreams come true. Never let them go... :)

@leminyelloblak Ha awesome! I'll totally have to get it. One good source I've found for underground Seattle stuff is the blog Northwest Noise that a guy with the tagname myhairsprayqueen has on blogspot I found this band called Stymie and I liked the music, so I put a couple tracks up on youtube, and the guitarist from Stymie found them and thanked me and I started telling him stuff I knew and he was all impressed, and I was just talking to the guy from Psychosis who said I knew more than him

@KristinNirvana Yeah... Loser is a wealth of knowledge. I didn't grow up in Seattle; but after reading that book, I was telling people who grew up in that scene things about that scene that they didn't know. Our band's producer (Jeremy Wilson) told me I was like a walking "Seattle scene encyclopedia". I can give all the credit to that book. I think you would LOVE that book.

@leminyelloblak I love that noise rock stuff too. I have heard the names of those books but haven't read them, thanks for reminding me, I have like a list of books and stuff I want to eventually get, but I haven't been able to spend much since I've been saving up to move to Seattle. I want to try and form a grunge band, and I figure if it's really gone then I'll go solo and people who want grunge will have to come to me. A guy on the grunge forum said he got a lot of obscure info from Loser.
This band was from my home town, Stanwood. I don't really like them but it's fun to listen and imagine them practicing at one of my neighbors' houses. Also, they sound kind of pissed, and I can totally understand why they would be, after living here for so long!

same hear, i feel the same about that too.. i try not to talk likeing the top bands frist because i have in the past and just been called a poser, so i keep shut, but when asked i talk about the underground stuff like Bundle of Hiss ect, that makes them think and go oh.. But there aint really any talk about how great all this music was nowadays is all the Indie and Emo,, stuff, which fair enough if you like it, everyone has there own taste i guess, but i just cant gel to todays music

@me25422 Yes, a lot of good bands/artists do show up today but the ones I like don't sound very 2012 if you catch my drift. The trendy music has often been crap in my opinion.
