@SSt4rr nah the francs actually had quite a few military victories, but they were badass; the modern french, not so much.

If i remember correctly (there have been a few years since i last read it), there is a mention about the horse in the Iliad. I could be wrong though. I'm not sure.
But yeah the entire story is not in the Iliad, you're right on that

yeah, but we're not (or at least i am not) referring to anything other than the Iliad. "The Trojan Horse was in the Iliad" is an incorrect statement was my point.

It exists in the Little Iliad. Both the sack of Troy and Achille's death.
Iliad may end with Hector's funeral but it doesn't narrate what happened later, and Odyssey only begins after the city was destroyed.

Actually you should maybe read the Iliad, because it ends with the death of Hector, not the sacking of troy :p
