I would have need no convincing that I was indeed listening to the voice of Gordon Lightfoot, had I not watched this as well. One of the most hauntingly beautiful melodies from any song. Hearing this and I am actually on the beach in Nova Scotia.

@painterplegia I think I read (or heard) somewhere long ago, that as romantic as this song is, it is actually about a cat. Wondering if that's true. (some of the most beautiful love songs have been written about pets and not people.)
