I'm writing a freefall drift calculator using numerical routines to calculate the drift path instead of averages and liner approximations (Runge Kutta 4 order). The canopy drift path uses linear approximations since the drag quickly brings it to local ground relative airspeed. The program eliminates the need for a skydivers mass, area and best guess of drag coefficient by using known (users best guess) terminal velocity of the skydiver. The bulls-eye represents the region you can reach by canopy.
Some variables the program takes into account:
-Air Density variation with height and local temperature at altitude (using winds aloft chart)
-Canopy airspeed and glide ratio
-Terminal velocity back calculation uses height at which maximum velocity is reached for the dive
-Skydivers average position (ie. belly to earth, head down, .... etc)
-Forward throw of aircraft
-Aircraft airspeed
-Bering of aircraft
-Winds aloft charts
-etc...

Some variables that can be set:
Windage, Exit Altitude, Open Altitude, Aircraft Airspeed, Aircraft bearing, Terminal Velocity, Jump Direction, DZ latitude longitude and altitude, Canopy forward speed and glide ration, Ratio of vertical to lateral drag (free flight body position), ...

The spotter will automatically set the aircraft bearing into the wind if a bearing is not specified.
