Amazing you rock, I've just started on my path of solar and wind power. At the end of my journey my system has to produce 50 kilowatts a day.

That must have been expensive. Panels, turbine and all the inverters, batteries, charge controllers, wiring and switches? How much would u estimate the total cost to be.

@jonathans1212 I recomend both your display on your charge controller is real time info and your trimetrik is your gas gage. They make much better units now I would look in to it. I hope that helped.

Hey I have a 12v battery and based on what I've heard 6v golf cart batteries are the way to go I only have about 100 watts of solar but can I have 2 golf cart batteries 12v and 1 12v battery until the 12v dies then have only 6v batteries

@jonathans1212 Yes you can if your charging source is large enough. If you are cycling your batterys it is not a good idea. That is why I have a switch to keep my battery banks seperated. Remember bird of a feather flock together.

I bet I've watched this video 20 times. I absolutely love the details that you're willing to share. I have 1 question. I want to get about 300-400 watts of panels soon. I've been experimenting with the little small 10-15w units. In your opinion, what brand/model/etc of panel would you recommend a new solar user start with?

@deanlisenby It depends on UL listed VS non. I like the SUN panels from sunelec . com the prices right now are great. Kevin
