well, the point of their solo numbers is to show what each did after the spice girls. and this is what victoria did; fashion. in which she was more successful

Well, they didn't "flop," but they didn't do as well as her work with the Spice Girls. All her solo singles still broke the top 10 (in the UK anyway), but they weren't very well recieved critically. That, and her first two singles had such ill timing, placing her in awkward competitions with Sophie Ellis-Bextor and Kylie Minogue.
