Erykah Badu is my Earth Angel :-)
Here's Why....
I met Ms. Badu in 2007 @ The Dallas Soul Music Conference.
In 2008 we crossed paths again in Atlanta outside of The Fox Theatre. It was there that she told me I was "Next" and it is my time.
Ms. Badu aka @FatBellyBella & I remained in contact through Twitter and I would often times let her know that I looked forward to creating magic with her.
On Oct. 25th 2009 that moment came!! Ms. Badu took it upon her self to allow me to open her show at one of the largest venues in Atlanta Georgia, The Atlanta Civic Center. She asked what it would take to make it happen and paid my entire band out of her own pocket . If that aint an Earth Angel, I don't know what is....
Ms. Badu is an ICON and is one the few True Artists still around. She understands the fact that it's ALL about the ART! No egos...No hang ups...Just a vessel, light, reflection of the Original Creator. I'm forever grateful and humbled :-)
