I ran my 6 ft. home-made for two days and sadly it put my Keen to shame! 12 years ago my Keen was around 160 bucks. I throw some wood together and glue everything down in under two hours and it caught twice as much gold as the Keen! Wood was really all the early miners had to work with. I found brads or tack nails from some of those boxes they used. Screws were scarce, but it's cool to find things from 160 years ago! I work the Mother Lode in different parts. Thanks for the info on the pump.

Thats Great glad it worked .. How much gold was toward the bottom half if any do you know ???? I just think its cool we can make something like this hand made and a lot less money and have it catch just as much gold or more LOL..

Also you could make your own Grizzly ,.. But i think its important to look at the bigger rocks when your classifying it down to 1/4" minus so you dont pass up a Nugget Thanks for all your Posts >>Chris

this is defiantly the best video on on the internet describing how to make a sluice box. i have looked through pages on youtube and on Google search on "how to make a sluice box" and every time i stumble upon this video i come to the same conclusion.

I'm not the only ony one who wants to see you put some material through this sluice so can you put up another one running material without the gay music so I can hear.
