Correct me if I'm wrong here - wasn't this when Maiden supported Judas Priest? I went to that one - memorable when Rob Halford infamously dropped his trousers during the encore. Full "wedding tackle" outing. What a blinding night - Maiden and Priest.
@Rock101944 No these are the alternate lyrics before the album version lyrics. The alternate lyrics were also used on the BBC Archives album from the 1980 Reading Festival. Later on they ended up changing the lyrics.
@Bigfatquackattack That's odd because they played Killers at the Reading Festival when Dennis Stratton was still in the band.

@IronMaidenSlave1978 In an interview Paul Dianno said that they wrote the lyrics backstage before the show.

@MrMarkKirkman No that wasn't this gig, if I remember correctly that was during Judas Priest's Screaming for Vengeance tour.

@jpob18 That can't be right, cause they used the same lyrics at the Reading Festival, when Dennis Stratton was still in the band.

@IronMaidenSlave1978 The lyrics were actually written just before the show
