@dan32113 He wasn't saying he wants him to play louder. Just wishes his guitar tone was a little fatter. Something that can be achieved with thicker gauge strings, or boosting the low end EQ on his rig.

@skinnyernie bigger sound? how do you define that, i think you mean louder! Jeff Beck doesn"t play like that he plays a rock/Jazz fusion. His sound is big for what he does, by that i mean tone & technique. SRV, Page shread & the sound can become "thin" because they miss notes, & the sound can be muffled, so although they play loud it is also "thin". Jeff Beck wants more than a loud sound, he"s been there done that. His tone however, is second to none..

@skinnyernie hahaha I think it's pretty hilarious that you choose one of the "deep"est guitar players to ever pick up the instrument, and choose a song so emotional, to say that it's not deep enough. I suggest you stop listening to guitar music because you can certainly never be pleased

i know i'm going to receive hate for saying this. and i love jeff beck. but sometimes i wish his sound was a little more deep. thicker strings maybe? sometimes it's so clean and thin i find my self getting anoid with the sound. i know people will hate on me for saying this but it's just my feeling. youtube certainly does not do him any justice when it comes to sound.
