Cuttlet Milanese Style
The first written recipe was from Feldmarschall Milanese, Johann Anton Franz Karl Josef Wenzel Graf Radetzky von zu Radetz, Bohemian nobleman who fought with the Prussian side during the Napoleonic Wars and immortalized by the famous Radetzky March composed by Johann Strauss (father). In a letter to a friend, describes the preparation of calling them Cotolette alla Milanese Milanese (Cuttlet Milanese Style).
The Wiener schnitzel (from German Wiener Schnitzel: Vienna-style steak) is one of the most famous Austrian cuisine.
The tonkatsu was invented in the late nineteenth century and is a popular dish in Japan. It is a pork chop or two centimeters wide and fried, cut into pieces the size of a snack, usually served with shredded cabbage. It can be used in its preparation both lean pork fillet usually added to meat salt and pepper and dipped in a mixture of flour, beaten egg and panko (flakes Japanese bread) before frying.
