Not very good at German at all but, they built a new S1 from scratch it looks like, how accurate a replica is this? Does it use components accurate to the 1980's or is it modernized like the ProSpeed's version?

They builded the 1985 (San remo rally winner) version.
The only not original part is the suspension because the original supplier didnt excist anymore.
For the rest the builded the car with original parts which are newly build by original suppliers.
Some things they had to find out themself becasue there were no records.
The roll cage is made to modern standards (due to safety regulations) and is better then original.
They even assembled an by Walter Rohrl designed footrest
