I love this video because me and my friends did the same thing. We rented scooters in Vardarero and went through this main street and stopped for a Cristal at the Y in the road and came back down the other side. Seemed like a poor town but everyone was smiling and happy just the same -- This is real Cuba --- If you go to Varadero then you must go to Cardenas -- Beautiful in its rustic state -- The highlite of my trip.

Big ups to one of the well known cardenas residents, chino the tattoo artist who inked my back when i was on holiday there. Would highly recommend him.
