Due to quite a few comments coming my way regarding what could have happened if I'd attacked the US line with all of the Japanese troops at once, I decide to return to Iwo Jima to show you the outcome of such a strategy.

  • @xGUNISHMENTx how do you move all the units at once?

  • @xGUNISHMENTx where do you download the editor (I accidentally deleted it :( )

  • In Iwo Jima the pre invasion bombardment bombed most vegatation flat so there was no cover period except the odd burnt out tree trunk the Americans used the bombardment to deny the Japanese of their top tactic lose the beachhead and head back into the jungle....

  • Hmmmm ok.... Firstly it was proved during WW2 that banzai charges were often very futile and were used as delaying actions and in some cases most cases suicide attacks. On Iwo Jima they were used because the island had no vegitation the old Japanese tactic of hug the jungle didnt work so they could really lure their enemy out and isolate them and little in the way of effective artillery support and air support Banzai charges were the only thing left to scare the enemy.

  • Gunishment, how would you time the waypoints? As in, have one group go in and another group go in a minute later? Also, for some D-Day maps i see respawning boats. Tutorial please?

  • @xGUNISHMENTx moddb. plenty of MoW groups there where you can upload your files for free
