yes I have check the tim Buckley version. Im sorry but I must say , this versions has not anything to do with Gene's "Hi Lili" it sounds like a diffrent Song!
Tim Buckley Version sounds terrible in my Ears!

I hear the blues in Genes voice and this comes across in the ballards he sings.Nobody in the 1950s rock n roll scene comes close to Gene when he sings like this and I think he was overlooked due to the fact of having bad management.
