The video shows how to put a tyre back on with levers. Such a bad idea. Even the text at the MEC website says "Using only your hands, begin working the other side of the tire bead over the rim edge. Make sure not to pinch the tube between the tire and the rim edge. You can let a bit of air out of the tube if needed."
I personally would remove the inner tube before removing the tyre completely. More chances to nic the inner tube avoided.
Best idea is to practice at home and get better at it.
most ppl skip putting the tread back on, taking the tire off in the first place, checking if the bead is on or if its pinching, releasing the brakes, etc
It would help if you included making sure it was not going to pinch the inner tube and what axle rubbing is. Also you should make videos with brakes on them (releasing brakes), back tires (the supposedly "dreaded" cassette), fixing a chain (torture), proper usage of the cassette, how to prevent chain rubbing, etc
Haaha.. thanks fo rhte caution 'careful for dog poo'. I recall seeing a guy fixing a flat before on the road but to me it looked like he ran over some 'bio' landmines smeared over the tire. Poor bugger. Didn't appear to have gloves so I stopped by and offered him some of my disposibile gloves (which I always carry a pair for dirty things like the chain).
how does have disc brakes??
