How to Shoot a Basketball

Welcome to our first collection of "Finishes at the Rim!" This series of NINE different Finishes should give you a way to score at the rim under most all circumstances as you attack the basket! If you practice these moves and make them second-nature ( "Reactionary"), you will be UNSTOPPABLE!!

This week Chase discusses the first NINE Finishing Moves taught by ShotScience Basketball. Each move is given in a short introduction by Chase and by clicking on the "Hand Icon," you can get a Slow Motion Breakdown of the play with several Keypoints.

@Sciionic You are probably ending up underneath the hoop. Begin your attack further away from the basket.

Every time I try to finish around the basket in transition I always hit the bottom of the rim... What am I doing wrong??

Thank You Very much coach... We won as championship at a local league using the worm pick a boo... it was 67 all and 1 had a 1on1 against their center... made it in and won as champs!
