I totally agree. Angela Bassett probably deserves an Oscar in my opinion. I'm amazed that she hasn't gotten one yet, but then again has she done enough work in the film industry??

What I think is she has to have a role similar to what Halle & Denzel won for, weird & crooked roles, which is a shame!!! I think she's done more than the average actor to win an Oscar, look at Jennifer Hudson, first time out, and won an award that isn't even in her own field!!!

I am STILL upset that they gave Halle Berry that Oscar. She had to do a porno to get an Oscar nod?! I never saw Training Day but will have to.

When Hudson won the Oscar I was a little perturbed because folk like Angela, Don Cheadle, Lawrence Fishburne and a host of other Afam actors have yet to gain the recognition by the Academy of Actors that they deserve. The last film Angela appeared in was, I believe, Akeela and the Bee which did not really give her that major leading role.

Yeah dude, I can't believe it either!!! I personally don't agree with it because Ellen really has no musical background, but they might have picked her because of her love of music & she's an AI fanatic!!! LOL I stopped watching it after the audition episode in season 5.

Man can you believe Ellen is gonna be a jdge on American Idol? I dont watch American Idol, but still its interesting.
