We made this video to illustrate the random opportunities that people have to meet each other and how quickly those opportunities can slip back into the nothingness from whence they came.

The idea was to show two, single people going about their everyday life. Both individuals are in a limbo phase where they are longing to meet someone and fall in love, but just dont seem to be coming across any worthwhile opportunities. At some stage in the day, they serendipitously cross paths and bump into each other. The chance to talk to each other lingers for a couple of seconds, but neither of them say a word. Instead, they do what most people do in those situations: Nothing.

They walk in opposite directions and the opportunity vanishes into thin air.

Alternative meaning:

If you listen to the lyrics of the music playing throughout the video, it can also seem like the two characters had recently broken up and were ruing the loss of each other. Walking around the areas the once frequented together, they bump into each other in a chance encounter. An opportunity exists to start over again. Instead, they both look at each other in an emotionally-disconnected way and decide to walk away and close that chapter of their lives.
