Power company SCE&G has installed 3 giant sirens along the Saluda below the Lake Murray Dam in Lexington, SC, which go off repeatedly during the day and night at nine-minute intervals to signal to fishermen that the river is rising. The alarms, which when activated sound like the Blitzkrieg, have driven away nearly all wildlife in the area and frustrated residents who chose to live along the river for the peace it offers.

  • it's probably a whelen omni-directional siren

  • No, its a DSA.
