Update: According to online sources, Mrs. Roddy's shooting touched off a huge wave of anger at the drug dealers, and a lot of community organizing. The drug-thug cowards put out a $10K contract on her, but it was never carried out. As far as I can tell, they never found the shooter, but East Palo Alto today isn't nearly as bad as it was in the early 90s.

If I ever lived in a poor portion of any city I would personally pay this woman to be my neighbor! We need more people like her!! She did the right thing for her community.

I hope she is ok she is such a brave woman, I hate dirty ghetto thugs and shame on those white people coming into "the hood" buying drugs and than going back to their safe white mansions, they are just as much to blame as the drug dealers.

@superkryp13 i know that episode but i don't know the name. and then the guy shoots the guy that got out because of the lady's license plate....it was a mess. and there was a sketch at the end too. in the beginning they were sitting near a mailbox
