I had to laugh when Alan Johnson said "he [Gordon Brown] certainly doesn't approach a problem with 'how can this make me look popular?' but 'how can I solve it?'". Oh yes like mortgaging our children's future for votes at the general election instead of cutting the enormous national debt.
