What next Orwell used to support communism? Well religious tombs have always been used to support killings. I guess that’s just what fanatical types do!

Interpretation is just another way people bend substance to support their own views to fit their own means ( A=A people). I once thought the readers of Ayn Rand were that slim percentage of people who are intelligent enough to vote, now I see it is just as full of idiots as the normal population. I am in horror that Rand’s great words can be used in such a way.

To bad YouTube does not consider misdirecting one of the greatest writers, and political minds of all time’s words to suit there on misguided political beliefs, a reason to repot this video as inappropriate. I am so disappointed that the Ayn Rand Institute shares in this approach. Reminds me of the disputes on constitutional interpretation: there is no interpretation it says what it means it quite plainly just as Ayn Rand does.

@bengoshia Well to be fair I didn't explain myself very well. We are in a democratic system, but our government is not a democracy, it's a republic. The rules of the republic are inviolate by the democracy. It doesn't turn out that way in practice, sadly, but if you fight any unconstitutional law it should be upheld by the supreme court. That is the first & most important job of the supreme court, to uphold constitutional law over that of those put in place by popular vote.

Ah yeah, a republic is a branch of a democratic system though right? I was just saving myself some breath really, thanks for the information on marriage though, i want to be in the right, not the wrong.

@bengoshia We are not in a democratic system. The U.S. is a republic, we have only one supreme document that sets down our rules for us, & that is the Constitution, & any & every law that violates the smallest bit of that, for example the ban on gay marriage, is not valid & can & should be ignored & WILL be upheld by the U.S. supreme court. The church has no rights over the legal aspects of marriage. Their claim of rights over it is a violation of the separation of church & state.

@MyITRcom What about them? I'm not sure I understand the reason for the question.

Hahahahahahahahahahaha, we're done here, you're a joke, go to bed kid.
Notice how liberal cheese eaters troll Ayn Rand videos? The stench of fear reeks in here.
The Teaparty doesn't exist in the form our media would have you to believe, and the writings of Ayn Rand have played their part in that. She is just one more weapon in our arsenal.

@bengoshia There's only one man in our governmental system ATM that has always voted for the constitution. That same man is the only one has never wavered in his job to uphold the ideals this country was founded on, nor let any contribution or back room deal sway his vote. He's the only man that would give power back to the people and be the first president to decrease the power of the presidency.
That man is Ron Paul and he is a modern day founding father. A Re-founding Father so to speak.
