Three-Toed Sloths

Taken on the Amazon River in Brasil of 3 different sloths. We're in a motor launch, and keeping the camera steady was impossible. The higher-pitched male voice you hear is of Moraes, a local guide, who tells a joke about how long it takes a sloth to get down from a tree--one year.

Filming them was a little hair-raising, given the rocking of the boat! But it was fun watching them--if you didn't fall asleep between moves! :-)
