what is the range on this unit? do you make a mount that would work with my vfr?

Radar detection range varies depending on the terrain. Typically around a mile, but it's going to increase if you are out in the desert or decrease if you are in the city or the twisties.
We do have a mount to go with the VFR, Control Mount part number D-01-07.

You guys should include the mount with the main console so its easier to buy

We had thought about it but there are so many different bikes out there with different configuration that it would be a pain to do this, that's why we sell the mounts separately.
